m2f v1.2 works as a bridge between email mailing lists and phpBB 2 forums.

Version 2.0 is currently in development, and will allow communication between an infinite number of sources, from bulletin boards like phpBB, vBulletin, SMF and IPB to RSS syndication, NNTP, Content Management Systems, mailing lists and more.

Stable version v1.2

  • Current release: v1.2.6
  • Development: Feature-frozen while v2.0 development is in progress. Security updates only.
  • Compatibility: phpBB 2 only (not compatible with version 3)
  • Links phpBB 2 forums with email mailing lists. Either use an existing mailing list or create a new one from within m2f. Posts to the forum are emailed to the list, emails to the list are posted to the forum.
  • Download: .zip or .tgz package from Sourceforge.

Development version v2.0

  • Complete redesign from the ground-up. Fully Object-Oriented code, PHP 5 only. Uses Zend Framework and Test-Driven Development.
  • Will incorporate 100% of functionality from v1.2
  • Currently in private Alpha release status
  • Allows communication between an infinite number of sources, from bulletin boards like phpBB, vBulletin, SMF and IPB to RSS syndication, NNTP, Content Management Systems, mailing lists and more.
